The AFC4Hydro project is coming to an end and we are pleased to invite you to participate in our final Open Workshop!

During week 41, LTU team has been at Oksla in an attempt to mitigate the rotating vortex rope using the IPM system.

On Thursday the 28th of September the two IPM rods were dismantled from the Porjus U9 draft tube.

On Tuesday the 26th of September, the AFC4Hydro prototype measurements were started.

Preparation work for laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV) measurements in the draft tube cone of the LTU test rig has been undertaken.

On Wednesday the 13th of September, LTU was visiting Porjus

On Tuesday 28th of March, a group of bachelor students of Hydraulic and Environmental engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) visited the Barcelona Fluids & Energy Lab (IFLUIDs) at UPC in Spain.

AFC4Hydro presented facets of our project and as part of the PTK, an annual conference and exhibition for renewable energy in Norway.

During the last couple of weeks, the work of assembling the full-scale IPM systems has been undertaken.
