As of mid-April, assembling of the LTU test-rig has started. About four meters of piping network that will connect the low-pressure and high-pressure tanks has been put into place.
We have installed the pump, flowmeter and control valve but are still waiting on turbine parts such as the spiral casing and draft tube that are still being manufactured. Although we are still waiting on some components, assembling the parts that we have available is an important and thrilling phase of the project, says Joel Sundström from WP1.
