By adding Livia Pitorac to the team FDB strengthens the efforts for the upcoming field tests in the AFC4Hydro project. In her PhD work Livia gained valuable experience from power plants, and focused her thesis work on water conduit dynamics motivated by the increased demand for power ramping in the hydropower system. Such dynamics is also one of the motivations for AFC4Hydro.
Livia also co-founded the Nordic chapter of the IAHR- Young Professionals, which is a network well suited for dissemination of many of the AFC4Hydro activites.
