Last September 23rd, project coordinator Prof Xavier Escaler and WP3 leader Dr Oscar de la Torre visited the Group for Fiber Optics at EPF Lausanne. Prof. Luc Thévenaz along with some of the researchers of his group explained the current state of the art of fiber optics and potential applications. The meeting was very profitable and UPC staff came with a better understanding of the technology and very valuable ideas on how to implement solutions in the context of AFC4HYDRO project.
